Part-time Research Assistant – Impact Evaluation Project

About the role

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking a part‑time Research Assistant II to support a funded project evaluating the impact of renovations and facility enhancements in residential care homes for the elderly. Working under the Principal Investigator, you will contribute to all phases of the study, from literature review to data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on topics related to elderly care and facility improvement.
• Recruit and coordinate research participants for the evaluation study.
• Assist in delivering the intervention components of the project.
• Support data collection activities, including surveys and observational records.
• Perform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis using appropriate software.
• Provide general research‑related assistance and documentation.

Required profile

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social science, psychology, statistics or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SPSS is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate research tasks as part of a team.
