PR & Events Assistant

About the role

NET‑A‑PORTER is seeking a PR & Events Assistant to support the Head of Marketing, PR & Events for both NET‑A‑PORTER and MR PORTER in the APAC region. The role will involve day‑to‑day tactical support for PR and event activities, helping to bring the brand’s stories to media, influencers and clients across Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tactical support to the PR & Events team on designer‑ and product‑related activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, stylists, fashion bloggers and influencers across APAC.
• Pitch feature ideas and news stories to communicate brand narratives.
• Brainstorm, develop and execute innovative concepts for PR and client events, including product launches, press days, style suites and local activations.
• Manage project timelines, coordinate with vendors, and oversee production of event materials such as invitations and promotional content.
• Handle event logistics – catering, transportation, equipment rentals and on‑site set‑up.
• Conduct post‑event evaluations, gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage press loan call‑ins, image requests and maintain the APAC press database.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Proactive and detail‑oriented individual with a passion for luxury fashion.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with global teams.
