Production Manager – Print Operations

About the role

Lion Rock Group, a leading international book printing and print management group, is seeking a Production Manager to join its Hong Kong production team. The role serves as the operational hub between international offices, clients, and Mainland China production facilities, overseeing end‑to‑end project workflows and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end print manufacturing processes from order placement to final delivery.
• Act as the daily operational bridge between overseas offices, clients, and factory partners.
• Conduct irregular travel to Mainland China offices and printing plants for press checks, sample inspections, and project follow‑ups.
• Perform proofing reviews, sample approvals, and technical troubleshooting to resolve quality or timeline variances promptly.
• Evaluate production quotes, optimize vendor pricing, and manage timelines under tight delivery windows.

Required profile

• HKDSE / Form 5 education or above with solid background in printing or publishing.
• Deep technical expertise in offset, digital printing, and paper grades.
• Meticulous, proactive, highly organized, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to undertake irregular travel to Mainland China plants.
• Strong written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
