Field Service Engineer I

About the role

The Field Service Engineer I will promote Honeywell solutions and third‑party maintenance offerings, manage retrofit and service projects, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across site installations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities and pursue maintenance orders and retrofit jobs for Honeywell and third‑party equipment.
• Maintain financial control of projects against agreed budgets and plans.
• Lead system testing, commissioning, and oversee labour and subcontractor activities on site.
• Negotiate equipment prices and modifications with suppliers and coordinate order placement.
• Schedule and plan site resources, including manpower, material delivery, and tools.
• Perform emergency call duties outside normal hours and drive continuous improvement to reduce repeat calls.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline) with at least 2 years of project/maintenance experience (or equivalent experience for diploma holders).
• Proven track record in project management and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to work overtime, travel to Macau and perform emergency call duties.
• Good communication, team‑player attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Honeywell systems/products, Building Control and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Knowledge of cloud/IOT connectivity (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional.
• Software programming and computer system networking experience.
