Regulatory Affairs Internship – Pharmacy Training Programme

About the role

The Regulatory Affairs Internship is part of MSD’s Pharmacy Internship Training Programme, based in Lee Garden Two on Hong Kong Island. The role is supervised by the Regulatory Affairs team and is open to recent graduates of accredited Bachelor of Pharmacy programmes from HKU or CUHK.

Key responsibilities

• Support new product registration and life‑cycle management, including strategic planning for launches and post‑approval variations.
• Assist Medical Affairs with inquiries, patient programmes and HCP symposium visits.
• Conduct adverse event reporting and data verification for pharmacovigilance activities.
• Attend drug‑office and medical‑device seminars and collaborate with stakeholders such as DOH officers, CPO and legal advisors.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) programme at The University of Hong Kong or The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
• Eligibility to work in Hong Kong and interest in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical sector.
