Senior Managed File Transfer Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Join a leading multinational investment bank in Hong Kong as a Senior Managed File Transfer (MFT) Infrastructure Engineer. You will provide advanced operational support for critical file‑transfer platforms that serve both internal business units and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2/3 support for enterprise MFT platforms, handling SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, Connect:Direct and file‑system transfers.
• Onboard new file‑transfer flows, manage secure external connectivity, and maintain DMZ/perimeter services.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve failed or delayed transfers across multiple environments.
• Manage encryption services, PKI, certificate lifecycle, key management and data‑loss‑prevention controls.
• Perform troubleshooting across network, firewalls, Linux/Unix, databases, storage and application services.
• Execute production deployments, maintenance windows and change implementations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell and Ansible.
• Participate in incident, root‑cause and problem management, and handle on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, infrastructure or production support.
• Strong background in MFT technologies and protocols within a regulated financial services environment.
• Hands‑on experience with secure external connectivity, client onboarding and DMZ management.
• Extensive Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, cross‑domain issues.
