Senior Manager, Agency Training and Development

About the role

Manulife is seeking a Senior Manager to lead agency training and development initiatives. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that empower agents and support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑quality training aligned with need‑based selling concepts for new agents.
• Own the end‑to‑end training program lifecycle, ensuring effective delivery and measurable impact.
• Monitor program effectiveness and adjust content based on performance data and feedback.
• Conduct training needs analysis across the agency force and create targeted solutions.
• Facilitate communication channels with managers to gather feedback and improve curricula.
• Lead cross‑departmental projects and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Required profile

• University graduate with professional qualifications in training and insurance; financial planning qualification preferred.
• Proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
• Self‑driven, independent, and results‑oriented.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written); Putonghua is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems.
• Advanced PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Experience with Chinese word‑processing tools.
