Solutions Architect (AI Native SDLC)

About the role

Join EPAM Systems' AI‑Centric Delivery practice as a Solutions Architect focused on AI‑native software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will design and prototype enterprise‑wide AI‑augmented workflows, agentic systems and LLM‑powered tooling that accelerate engineering throughput.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and validate AI‑SDLC developer agents and multi‑agent orchestration workflows.
• Translate senior client business requirements into AI‑augmented solution architectures.
• Communicate design trade‑offs across latency, cost, observability and risk.
• Integrate AI‑enabled processes across version control, CI/CD pipelines, code review, testing and documentation.
• Deliver functional prototypes within tight delivery windows to showcase AI‑native engineering value.
• Lead end‑to‑end enterprise architecture design incorporating agentic systems, LLM‑powered workflows and retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering leads, product owners and EA teams to align designs with security, governance and integration standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior software engineer or solutions architect experience on complex enterprise engagements.
• Hands‑on expertise with large language models (e.g., Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini).
• Demonstrated ability in prompt engineering, model selection, context management, and production cost/latency optimization.
• Experience designing agentic workflows with tool use, memory, multi‑step reasoning and human‑in‑the‑loop patterns.
• Solid foundation in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API design, data architecture and integration patterns.
