Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology

About the role

The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for a tenure‑track appointment as Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. The position starts on a four‑year fixed‑term basis with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical training to dental undergraduates and teach taught postgraduate courses.
• Supervise research postgraduate projects and deliver consultative radiology services.
• Conduct high‑quality research in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, including AI and big‑data applications.
• Engage in knowledge‑exchange activities, professional education programmes, and community outreach.

Required profile

• For Clinical Associate Professor: dental or medical bachelor’s degree, clinical specialist qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Ph.D., and a strong record of international research publications.
• For Clinical Assistant Professor: dental or medical bachelor’s degree, Master of Dental Surgery in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and demonstrated ability in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Evidence of participation in faculty and university affairs, and active involvement in knowledge‑exchange activities.
