Senior Service Engineer

About the role

Roche is seeking a Service Engineer to provide first‑line instrument support for diagnostic equipment at customer sites in Hong Kong. The role combines on‑site maintenance, remote assistance, and training to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, installations, and hardware/software modifications on diagnostic instruments.
• Deliver remote support via Digital Service Solution and provide professional service training to customers and peers.
• Document service activities in the CRM system and keep service information up to date.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, meet service KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement projects, including Lab Automation System implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of service engineering experience with IVD products.
• Strong customer orientation, excellent communication in English and Chinese, and proactive teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience installing and operating Microsoft Windows OS.
• Ability to use CRM systems for service documentation.
