Tenure-Track Clinical Associate/Assistant Professor – Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology

About the role

The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong seeks a tenure‑track Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. The appointee will join a globally recognised dental school, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education, clinical services, and cutting‑edge research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical training to dental undergraduates.
• Teach taught postgraduate programmes.
• Supervise research postgraduate projects.
• Deliver consultative radiology services to patients.
• Conduct high‑quality research in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Required profile

• Dental or medical Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• For Associate Professor: specialist qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Ph.D.; for Assistant Professor: Master of Dental Surgery in the same field.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and recognition in the region.
• Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical practice, and research.
• Active participation in faculty affairs, knowledge‑exchange activities, and community engagement.

Required skills

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in dentistry.
• Big data analysis for dental research.
