Training & Education Specialist/Manager, Medical Surgical

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Training & Education Specialist/Manager to lead product training and clinical education for its medical‑surgical portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring safe, effective use of devices, supporting customers and internal teams, and contributing to product improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver employee and customer training on surgical equipment to optimize patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to assess training effectiveness.
• Develop and validate training methods, updating them as needed.
• Facilitate technical problem‑solving with customers and staff.
• Provide feedback to product development, education, and marketing teams.
• Partner with key personnel to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Support clinical research activities at activated clinical centers.

Required profile

• Experience in an operating theatre (OT) environment and familiarity with both small and large capital surgical equipment.
• Knowledge of surgical products and procedures across multiple specialties (e.g., General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, CTS).
• Background in clinical education, product training, or professional training program delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear learning experiences.
