Accountant – Finance Shared Service Centre

About the role

The Finance Shared Service Centre of Shangri‑La Group is seeking an Accountant to ensure financial integrity, compliance and operational efficiency across core accounting functions. You will work within a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting the Kowloon Shangri‑La hotel and its related entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Balance sub‑ledger accounts (city ledger, trade creditors, stock ledgers) against control accounts.
• Post month‑end and adjustment journals, review transaction registers and arrange necessary adjustments.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations, monitor daily cash flow and advise management on bank deposits.
• Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Maintain the fixed assets register and monitor the capital budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the hotel/F&B/private club industry, including at least 2 years at a senior accounting level.
• 1‑2 years of auditing experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail, reliability, proactivity and integrity.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sun Accounting System.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
