Accountant – Hotel/F&B/Private Club

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our hospitality finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end processes, and providing insights that help drive the business forward.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Ensure sub‑ledger accounts (city ledger, trade creditors, stock ledgers, etc.) reconcile with control accounts.
• Post month‑end and adjustment journals, review transaction registers and arrange necessary adjustments.
• Review bank reconciliations, monitor daily cash flow and advise management on bank deposits.
• Assist in quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting.
• Maintain the fixed assets register and monitor the capital budget.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal control policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the hotel, F&B or private club industry, with at least 2 years at a senior accounting level.
• 1‑2 years of auditing experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, proactive attitude and high integrity.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sun Accounting System.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
