Accountant

About the role

The successful candidate will join the Treasury department of a family‑owned group, reporting to the Financial Controller. This hands‑on position offers broad exposure to accounting, reporting, audit, tax and cash‑flow management across property management, investment and charitable foundation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of standalone and consolidated accounts for the Group.
• Liaise directly with overseas accountants and service providers.
• Handle accounting matters for property management, financial investment and charitable foundation activities.
• Produce periodic management accounts and financial statements independently.
• Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare Hong Kong profits tax returns, computations and research overseas tax requirements.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and perform actual‑vs‑budget analysis.
• Coach and review the work of an Accounting Trainee.
• Undertake other finance‑related tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Accounting or a related discipline.
• HKICPA or ACCA qualification (finalist candidates welcome).
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Interest in property, investment and charitable foundation accounting.
• Understanding of listed securities and private instruments is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Responsible, adaptable, detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Infor SunSystems.
