Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Hong Kong finance team. The role focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable and month‑end closing while supporting the Finance Manager with daily operations and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including G/L, AR/AP and month‑end closing.
• Prepare management accounts, schedules and supporting analysis.
• Perform e‑banking payments, fund transfers and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support finance system implementation, process improvements and operational projects.
• Liaise with auditors, financial institutions and professional firms.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably handling a full set of accounts.
• HKICPA Level 1 or above (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Well‑organized, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Experience in the hotel or hospitality sector is a plus.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SUN Accounting or similar accounting systems.
