Accountant

About the role

Sunny Group is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Hong Kong office. The role supports the accounting and financial operations of several Hong Kong entities, providing exposure to cross‑border finance within a listed multinational manufacturing group.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations for multiple Hong Kong entities.
• Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations and month‑end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with Hong Kong tax filings and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects and other accounting‑related assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 1 year in Hong Kong.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting practices and tax filing requirements.
• Preferred holder of a recognized Hong Kong accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA).
• Knowledge of Zhejiang business culture is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).
