Accountant

About the role

This position operates within the framework of the Belimo Mission, Vision and Values and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to occupational health and safety, as well as internal company policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role requires full adherence to health and safety requirements and active contribution to a safe and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts Payable – process supplier invoices, reconcile statements and handle employee expense claims.
• Accounts Receivable – monitor customer collections, overdue accounts and support credit control activities.
• Treasury & Banking – monitor daily cash balances, cash‑flow requirements, maintain banking records and manage online banking administration.
• Financial Reporting – prepare monthly financial reports and schedules, support management reporting and financial analysis.
• Compliance & Audit – ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls, prepare audit schedules and support external auditors.
• Administration & Support – maintain proper filing of accounting documents and assist with ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently; familiarity with foreign currency transactions and intercompany settlements is an advantage.
