Accountant – Management Reporting/FP&A

About the role

Join a leading brokerage firm’s finance team as an Accountant focused on management reporting and financial planning & analysis. You will compile and analyse monthly financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyse monthly financial information, including revenue, costs and profitability.
• Prepare regular management reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate key movements against budget and prior periods.
• Collaborate with business teams to review financial data and understand performance.
• Provide insights on revenue trends, cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis and business projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in management reporting, FP&A or financial analysis within financial services.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret financial information.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA or FRM are preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or other financial systems is an advantage.
• Proactive team player with good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
