Accounting Expert

About the role

JD.com is seeking an Accounting Expert to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations across its global e‑commerce and logistics business. The role will ensure accurate daily accounting, month‑end and year‑end closing, and provide financial insights that support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities including revenue, expenditures and capital expenditures, validate source documents and oversee month‑/year‑end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and conduct variance analysis to deliver actionable business insights.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, drive process automation and system integrations, and refine SOPs and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, provide required documentation and ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, assess financial risks such as inventory write‑downs or receivable defaults, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to safeguard assets and support strategic financial planning.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting with experience in end‑to‑end financial operations.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Experience in audit coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and asset protection.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and collaborate across functions.

Required skills
