Admissions Counsellor (US Colleges)

About the role

Crimson Education is seeking an Admissions Counsellor to guide ambitious students through the US college admissions process. The role involves creating personalized admission strategies, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting students from application planning to final submission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop individualized admissions roadmaps for each student, aligning academic, extracurricular, and personal goals.
• Collaborate with Educational Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, and mentors to execute the roadmap.
• Stay current on high‑school curricula, standardized testing, summer programs, and leadership opportunities to advise students.
• Conduct bi‑monthly consulting sessions, document action items, and track progress.
• Assist families in building balanced school lists that match student profiles and target acceptance rates.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US college admissions criteria and processes.
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global remote team.
• Experience in education consulting, tutoring, or related fields is preferred.
