App Store Optimization (ASO) Expert

About the role

Gate is looking for an App Store Optimization (ASO) Expert to own the end‑to‑end ASO strategy for its iOS and Google Play applications. You will build the ASO function from scratch, improve organic install rates, and boost user trust across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute keyword strategies, metadata optimization, and organic growth plans for iOS App Store and Google Play.
• Run A/B tests on screenshots, preview videos, and icons using Google Play Experiments and iOS Product Page Optimization.
• Maintain a multilingual review response system and analyse feedback to improve ratings.
• Monitor core ASO metrics (impressions, CVR, installs, keyword rankings) with tools such as Sensor Tower, Data.ai, and Appsflyer.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Track competitor ASO tactics and extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with paid acquisition, product, design, and content teams to align organic and paid growth.
• Support ASO localisation for English, Japanese, Korean, European languages, and Latin American Spanish/Portuguese.

Required profile

• 3+ years of ASO or mobile growth experience, preferably in internet, fintech or crypto.
• Strong understanding of App Store and Google Play ranking algorithms and policies.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data analytics, computer science or a related field.
