Assistant Accountant

About the role

Blue Bottle is expanding its coffee, food and hospitality operations and needs an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance team. You will help ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth day‑to‑day accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Finance team and manage financial data.
• Handle accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and daily café sales reconciliations.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations and analyse stock variances.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and monitor asset movements.
• Assist with month‑end closing, financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedules.
• Liaise with internal departments, vendors and external parties.
• Complete ad‑hoc assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Passion for coffee, food and hospitality and a self‑motivated, learning mindset.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems (strong advantage).
