Assistant Buyer

About the role

As an Assistant Buyer at lululemon, you will support the regional buying team in delivering the right product to the right stores at the right time. This role offers a pathway to grow within the merchandising function of a leading performance‑apparel brand.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of seasonal buying strategies to meet sales, gross margin and inventory productivity goals across stores, e‑commerce, strategic sales and showrooms.
• Manage purchase orders, pricing, item creation, on‑order reporting and product flow reporting.
• Assist in maintaining the regional line plan, including flow, weekly stories, cancellations and business shifts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as planning, allocations, production, catalogue, digital, visual merchandising and logistics to gather information for merchandising decisions.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting, market research and other miscellaneous projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, commerce or fashion merchandising preferred).
• Merchandise management or buying experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data across multiple channels and market segments.
• Excellent sense of style, color trends and an athletic mindset.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to learn, make decisions and take calculated risks.
• Organizational and time‑management skills focused on delivering an extraordinary guest experience.
