Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to join the Aberdeen Marina Club, a prestigious private membership club offering a range of dining, event, sports and marina facilities. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support all core HR activities and help shape a positive employee experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting and sourcing to selection, offer management and onboarding.
• Develop annual manpower plans, monitor workforce costs and assist with HR budgeting and forecasting.
• Generate and analyse HR metrics, produce regular reports and provide data-driven insights.
• Partner with department heads and line managers on talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement and performance management.
• Administer compensation and benefits, employee relations and compliance with employment legislation.
• Support implementation of HR policies, programmes and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in the luxury hospitality sector.
• Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, manpower planning, budgeting and HR reporting.
• Strong business-partnering abilities and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediate availability or short notice is highly preferred.
