Assistant Manager, Communications (Aug to Dec 2026)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Communications will support Christie’s global and Asia communications teams, focusing on press relations, internal communications, CSR, crisis communication and public affairs. The role requires bilingual English‑Chinese content creation and coordination across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies for Christie’s Asia, including media pitching and integrated marketing campaigns for auctions and special events.
• Produce bilingual press releases, editorial content, advertorials and manage website updates.
• Plan, coordinate and execute press events, interviews and media tours, handling logistics and follow‑up.
• Liaise with specialist departments, legal, compliance and senior management to address media inquiries.
• Supervise agencies and freelancers for coverage reports, press clippings and media tours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4‑6 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, preferably in the auction or luxury retail sector.
• Strong relationships with Hong Kong and regional media covering art, finance and lifestyle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
