Assistant Manager, Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Compliance will support the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Manager in delivering AML, sanctions and broader financial crime compliance programmes across Invesco’s APAC entities. You will work with regional and global stakeholders, gaining exposure to jurisdictions such as Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update AML, sanctions and financial crime policies, procedures, systems and controls.
• Assist with periodic financial crime risk assessments across entities, products and business lines.
• Provide AML and financial crime guidance to business teams.
• Support compliance reviews for new clients, products, investments and initiatives.
• Oversee AML operations teams, perform sample reviews, quality checks and track issues.
• Prepare reporting and materials for governance committees and senior management.
• Track key financial crime risks, issues and trends.
• Deliver AML and financial crime training to staff.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in AML, sanctions, financial crime compliance or related fields.
• Foundational understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
