Assistant Manager – Quality & Safety

About the role

The Hong Kong Baptist Hospital is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Quality & Safety initiatives. This senior position supports the hospital’s mission by driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and fostering a culture of patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate and monitor hospital‑wide quality improvement programmes.
• Facilitate meetings, events, clinical audits and research related to quality and safety.
• Promote a strong quality and safety culture across all clinical and support departments.
• Investigate incidents and complaints, ensuring patient‑centred outcomes and effective consumer engagement.
• Support accreditation processes such as ACHS and other relevant standards.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Nursing, Health Care Management or equivalent; higher academic degree is desirable.
• Registered Nurse (Nursing Council of Hong Kong) with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hospital experience, including management responsibilities.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese, English and Putonghua.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Data analysis capability.
