Assistant Manager (Registered Nurse) – Heat Project

About the role

The Hong Kong Red Cross is seeking an Assistant Manager (Registered Nurse) to support the Heat Project, a community health initiative. You will work closely with the Project Manager to design, deliver and evaluate health education programmes and services for vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in developing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating training and service programmes for the Heat Project.
• Create health education materials such as publications, social‑media posts and teaching resources on a regular basis.
• Deliver trainings and talks to community members as part of the project’s health education activities.
• Analyse client needs, develop health‑intervention plans and collaborate with the Assistant Manager for client recruitment and interventions.
• Support quality assurance of health materials and equipment.
• Supervise programme executives and volunteers to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with government departments, service units and community partners for collaboration.
• Plan and execute project events and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid Hong Kong Nursing Council practising certificate.
• Minimum two years of post‑registration nursing experience (fresh graduates may also be considered).
• Experience in health service promotion and community programme implementation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Proficient in PC use, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication and networking abilities.
