Assistant Manager, Tax, Finance

About the role

FWD Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead tax compliance, advisory and international tax functions across its Asian operations. The role will support multiple jurisdictions and work closely with the group tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage profit tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations, returns and supporting schedules for Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda.
• Provide tax advisory on business initiatives, corporate restructuring, investments and cross‑border transactions, evaluating regulatory and accounting impacts.
• Support transfer pricing compliance, documentation and implementation of BEPS, Pillar Two and other international tax developments, coordinating with group tax teams.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4–8 years of tax experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda corporate tax, Global Minimum Tax and insurance‑specific tax regimes.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17 and RBC regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
