About the role
The Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute (GCNI) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking full‑time non‑clinical Assistant Professors in neuroscience. The position involves developing independent research projects, supervising postgraduate students and delivering a modest amount of teaching.
Key responsibilities
- Develop significant independent research projects in neuroscience.
- Supervise postgraduate research students.
- Perform a modest amount of teaching.
Required profile
- PhD degree with post‑doctoral training and experience in neuroscience.
- Competitive track record of publications in respected peer‑reviewed neuroscience journals.
- Record of receiving competitive fellowships or research grants.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within research groups.
