Assistant Project Manager – Hong Kong

About the role

Geekplus, a global leader in mobile robotics, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to own the full project lifecycle for its Hong Kong operations. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver automation solutions for warehouses and supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables and constraints in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and budget estimates.
• Lead the project team, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure smooth implementation across departments.
• Conduct regular meetings, provide status updates, progress reports and presentations to senior management.
• Identify, allocate and monitor resources (personnel, equipment, budget) and adjust utilization as needed.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Execute project closure activities, finalize documentation, capture lessons learned and hand over deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project planning and delivery, preferably in warehouse operations, logistics management or automation solutions.
• Strong organizational, communication and negotiation abilities; capable of working directly with external customers and contractors.
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Hong Kong.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Project Executive role.
