Assistant Reservations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Reservations Manager will support the smooth operation of the Reservations Department at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong. Reporting to the Cluster Revenue Manager, this role works closely with the Reservations team, Revenue Management, Sales, and other hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop team members, fostering a culture of high‑quality service, relationship building, and effective selling techniques.
• Build strong relationships with guests and internal teams to understand and meet their needs.
• Manage training and development initiatives for the reservations staff.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, and Catering to maximize yield opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication with Credit, Concierge, Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B, and other relevant departments.
• Implement reservation procedures, improve conversion ratios, and ensure compliance with accounting SOPs.
• Contribute to the overall selling strategy of the hotel.
