Assistant System Administration Officer

About the role

The Assistant System Administration Officer will support the IT infrastructure across servers, network and virtualization platforms, providing technical assistance to retail shops, office locations and warehouses. The role also involves assisting with installation, configuration and maintenance of server and network equipment, as well as handling ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Key responsibilities

• Support IT infrastructure on servers, network and virtualization environments.
• Provide technical support for retail shops, office and warehouse locations.
• Assist in installation, configuration and maintenance of server and network equipment.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks assigned by senior IT staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience implementing and administering network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless).
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Holder of MCSE or CCNA certification is highly preferable.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
• Veeam Backup, vSphere and Linux administration.
• Network devices: firewalls, routers, switches and wireless solutions.
• Virtualization and server infrastructure management.
