Associate – Client Service Group (Korean Speaking)

About the role

Join Santander's newly established Client Service Group in Hong Kong as an Associate, providing frontline support to Korean‑speaking clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely and professional resolution of client inquiries while supporting the bank's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and receive client requests, understand needs, route to appropriate internal teams and keep clients updated on status.
• Conduct semi‑annual client feedback sessions and KPI reviews.
• Provide daily operational and transactional support, including KYC outreach, client file collection, sanity checks, account maintenance, signature changes, address updates, settlement instructions, audit confirmations, and client statement enquiries.
• Proactively address client issues and reduce frustration through continuous feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in client outreach, KYC, sales support, or trade operations within financial services.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (front‑to‑back).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, client‑first mindset.
• Fluent in English and Korean; Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese is a plus.
