Associate Director, Institutional Sales

About the role

Based in Hong Kong, this client‑facing position delivers risk‑management services across a range of markets products to offshore China institutional and corporate clients. Working closely with relationship managers, on‑shore sales and structuring teams, you will drive revenue growth through FX, interest‑rate and commodity solutions while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise desk revenue by delivering FX, interest‑rate and commodity solutions to target clients.
• Support franchise revenue growth through effective cross‑selling with structuring and on‑shore sales.
• Promote product penetration and cross‑sell across the existing markets client base.
• Execute the Markets and International Institutional Sales strategy in Asia.
• Maintain strong risk awareness, limit management and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Risk, Credit and Enablement partners to mitigate client and transactional risks.
• Implement front‑office controls and deal processes to minimise operational risk.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients while upholding ANZ values.

Required profile

• Proven experience in institutional sales within banking or financial services.
• Ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver tailored market solutions.
• Strong understanding of risk culture, limit management and regulatory requirements.
