Associate – Global Markets Structuring (Asia Pacific)

About the role

This position supports the development, structuring and execution of FX derivative and structured solutions for corporate and financial institution clients across Asia. Working closely with Sales and Trading teams, the Associate designs customized products and risk‑management solutions primarily in FX, with occasional exposure to Rates, Credit and other asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and develop customized FX solutions for corporate and institutional clients, extending to other asset classes when required.
• Perform pricing, risk analysis and financial modelling to support transaction structuring and execution.
• Prepare client presentations, indicative term sheets and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with Quantitative, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Support new product development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Global Markets franchise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in FX structuring, FX derivatives, sales, trading or a related Global Markets role.
• Good understanding of FX derivatives, especially FX options, including pricing, risk analysis and structuring concepts.
• Experience supporting corporate or institutional clients on hedging and risk‑management solutions.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modelling abilities.
• Knowledge of regional FX markets and market conventions.
• Commercial mindset with strong client, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English; additional Asian or Latin American language skills are a plus.
• Experience with hedge accounting or deal‑contingent hedging transactions is advantageous.
