Azure Integration Architect

About the role

We are seeking an Azure Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of integration solutions across complex, multi‑system environments. The role focuses on creating composable, modular architectures that align with enterprise standards while ensuring scalability, security, and reusability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive integration architecture and strategy for large‑scale, multi‑system landscapes.
• Design composable, modular integration solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture principles.
• Lead architectural decisions across engineering and digital domains, influencing product and platform teams.
• Design, govern, and manage the full API lifecycle and enterprise integration services.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure integration platforms using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Functions.
• Apply integration patterns such as REST, SOAP, messaging, and event‑driven architectures.
• Establish integration standards, governance frameworks, and reusable architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams on strategic roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
• Support Agile, product‑centric delivery with a focus on long‑term ownership and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in integration architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Experience working in multinational or consulting environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business, digital, engineering, and global teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services: Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions.
• API lifecycle management and enterprise integration platforms.
• Integration patterns: REST, SOAP, messaging, event‑driven architectures.
• Architectural approaches: MACH, microservices, MASA.
• Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation.
• Strong awareness of cloud security, data privacy, PII handling, and compliance considerations.
