Business Development Manager

About the role

South Enterprises Limited, a leading Hong Kong knitwear manufacturer, is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand its presence in Western markets such as Europe, North America and Australia. The role combines market research, branding, and event coordination to drive growth and strengthen the company’s global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research to uncover growth opportunities in Western regions.
• Analyse industry trends and consumer preferences to guide product development and positioning.
• Perform sales analysis and create balanced scorecards for strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and manage content for seasonal publications, newsletters and LinkedIn to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and execute trade shows and industry events, fostering client relationships.
• Support branding strategy implementation and contribute innovative ideas for new initiatives.
• Assist with ad‑hoc cross‑departmental projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in branding, marketing, business development or event management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and event coordination skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese.
• Willingness to travel for business development activities.
