About the role
The CTO will own technology strategy, architecture and engineering standards across the Group. This senior technical leadership position requires hands‑on involvement while guiding multiple businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Own architecture and major technical decisions across group products and platforms.
- Set engineering standards for reliability, security, performance, testing and code quality.
- Identify and resolve technical debt and architecture constraints.
- Improve engineering productivity, development speed and production reliability.
- Recruit and assess senior engineers, technical leads and engineering leaders.
Required profile
- Deep software engineering background with experience building and scaling production systems.
- Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Proven ability to make architecture decisions across multiple products or teams.
- Capable of building world‑class engineering teams while remaining technically hands‑on.
