Client Development Director – High Fashion

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Client Development Director to lead and expand relationships with high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) clients across the Asia‑Pacific region for a globally recognised luxury fashion brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a strategic client development roadmap for APAC.
• Drive acquisition, retention and reactivation of HNW/UHNW clientele.
• Build and nurture relationships with private collectors, family offices, VIP clients and key influencers.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, communications and retail teams to deliver bespoke client experiences.
• Lead regional CRM initiatives, using data and insights to enhance engagement and lifetime value.
• Identify opportunities to grow market share within existing client networks.
• Organise exclusive events, private viewings and tailored engagement programmes.
• Monitor client trends, competitor activity and luxury consumer behaviour across APAC markets.
• Coach commercial teams on best practices in clienteling and relationship management.
• Deliver revenue growth through targeted client development and cross‑market collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in art, fashion, high jewellery design or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in luxury retail, high jewellery, watches, fashion, hospitality, private banking, art, auction houses or other ultra‑premium sectors.
• Proven success managing relationships with HNW and UHNW clients in Asia.
• Strong network within luxury consumer circles, collectors, family offices or VIP communities (preferred).
• Commercially driven with solid business acumen and revenue ownership experience.
• Excellent presentation, relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
