Co-op Internship 2027 - Distribution Strategy Office (6 months)

About the role

The Distribution Strategy Office co-op intern supports strategic planning, business transformation and digital innovation initiatives. The role gives exposure to channel strategy, business performance management, digital transformation and cross-functional projects, with first-hand experience in distribution strategy and channel transformation within a leading insurance company. It develops project management, analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives focused on brokerage strategies and AI-enabled data analytics.
• Assist in business performance analysis and prepare management reports, insights and presentation materials for senior leadership.
• Support project governance: project tracking, stakeholder coordination, meeting preparation and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Distribution, Technology, Operations, Product, Compliance and Marketing.
• Contribute to business cases, process improvement and strategic recommendations.
• Projects include: Broker Strategy Refresh (market and competitive analysis); Broker API Integration Programme (business requirement documentation, testing, project management); AI-enabled Distribution Capabilities (prompt engineering, workflow design, training delivery).

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in financial services, insurance, strategy and digital transformation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
