Commercial Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Learning & Development Manager to shape and deliver the retail learning strategy across our eight boutiques in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Regional L&D Director, you will act as the bridge between the regional team and boutique staff, ensuring sales executives and managers have the expertise to elevate client experiences and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Spend 60%+ of time on‑site coaching boutique teams, observing sales interactions and providing real‑time mentorship.
• Design and lead structured onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring rapid brand immersion and operational readiness.
• Deliver training on service standards, client journey mapping, cross‑selling techniques, and handling high‑net‑worth clients.
• Partner with Boutique Managers and Retail Directors to diagnose skill gaps and tailor training interventions.
• Measure training ROI against retail KPIs such as mystery‑shopping scores, average transaction value, cross‑selling rates and client retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Hospitality or related field.
• 5–7 years experience in luxury or premium retail, with at least 3 years focused on learning & development, field coaching or retail training.
• Strong passion and knowledge of fine jewelry, high jewelry and fine watchmaking.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Highly adaptable, comfortable spending most days across multiple boutique locations.
