Compliance Manager (6‑month contract)

About the role

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for regulatory matters in Hong Kong, providing compliance support and advice to the business on local and regional requirements. The role involves liaising with regulators, maintaining procedures, and supporting the Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with regulators and handle regulatory filings for compliance‑related matters.
• Respond to surveys and questionnaires issued by the Securities and Futures Commission.
• Keep compliance procedure manuals up‑to‑date with local regulations and group policies.
• Undertake regular compliance monitoring, prepare compliance reports for clients, and file fund reports with overseas regulators.
• Provide support on other compliance matters for the Hong Kong or Singapore office.
• Assist with ad‑hoc compliance activities as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably within asset management or regulatory authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulations and guidelines.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements for investment offerings, cross‑border sales and institutional marketing.
• General product knowledge of unit trusts, UCITS and ETFs.
• High integrity, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively.
