Consultant – Corporate Communications

About the role

Burson is looking for a motivated Consultant to join its Corporate Communications team in Hong Kong. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, shaping PR strategies and delivering media solutions across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse media dynamics in Hong Kong and Greater China, producing insightful reports for clients.
• Manage media relations, coordinate one‑on‑one interviews and execute press conferences.
• Draft and distribute press releases and other media materials in both Chinese and English.
• Support event planning and logistics to ensure smooth execution.
• Develop independent client relationships, understanding industry, objectives and organisational structure.
• Share proactive insights and ideas to address client needs within the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Language and Translation, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business or related fields.
• 4–6 years of media experience; PR or agency background is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Up‑to‑date on current affairs and business news in Hong Kong and Greater China.
• Team player with strong work ethics and self‑starter attitude.
• Result‑oriented with solid problem‑solving abilities.
