Counter Service Officer / Manager (Teller)

About the role

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) is seeking a Counter Service Officer / Manager to join its extensive retail banking network in Hong Kong. The position involves handling a wide range of over‑the‑counter transactions while delivering high‑quality, personalized service to customers across the bank’s 52 retail outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform various customer transactions at the counter, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cheque processing.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all customers, ensuring a pleasant banking experience.
• Promote and cross‑sell bank products and services during customer interactions.
• Handle cash and cheque transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to security procedures.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff members as needed.

Required profile

• Secondary education or higher.
• Minimum 1‑3 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar counter‑service role for the Officer/Manager level; no experience required for the Assistant level.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with a pleasant demeanor.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
