Customer Service Officer – Premier Centre

About the role

HSBC is seeking a Customer Service Officer for its Premier Centre branches in Hong Kong. The role involves delivering high-quality, face-to-face service to retail and premier customers while supporting the bank’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Process counter transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify customers’ financial needs, refer them to appropriate specialists and promote relevant products.
• Encourage adoption of digital banking channels and assist customers with migration.
• Welcome customers, manage the branch hall environment and ensure a smooth flow of visitors.
• Maintain branch operations standards and achieve satisfactory audit results.
• Apply anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑terrorist‑financing controls in line with HSBC and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (HKCEE/HKDSE) with passes in at least five subjects, including Mathematics and Chinese or English.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to quality service.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in Cantonese and English required, Mandarin an advantage.
• Previous teller or customer‑service experience preferred; candidates with less experience may also be considered.

• Understanding of cash handling and transaction processing.
