Cyber Security (Assistant) Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Assistant Manager to help build and protect our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the security team to design, implement, and monitor robust security solutions across cloud and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and construction of secure cloud landing zones, network architecture, access controls, and intrusion detection mechanisms.
• Develop and promote security architecture standards and access‑control policies.
• Support day‑to‑day security operations for cloud and network environments, driving maturity and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, identify system weaknesses, and propose remediation strategies.
• Perform first‑line reviews of cloud and network security controls.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of cloud, network, and overall security strategies and policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security management, SIEM, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in both Chinese and English.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP or CCSP are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver customer‑focused results.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Huawei Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Cloudflare, Akamai, HillStone and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with Network Detection and Response (NDR) / Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
• Understanding of common web and system vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and NIST frameworks.
