Data Analyst & Machine Learning – Permanent Role

About the role

Our client, a leading global logistics company, is building a greenfield data platform from the ground up. They are seeking a Data Analyst with strong Machine Learning and Business Intelligence experience to join a multinational data team and deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover business insights, trends and opportunities.
• Design, develop and deploy Machine Learning models that address operational and strategic needs.
• Contribute to the creation of data and BI solutions on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Build dashboards, reports and visualisations in Power BI.
• Perform data preparation, quality checks and provide technical support for BI tools.
• Work closely with Data Scientists, IT teams and business units on global analytics and AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar role with hands‑on Machine Learning.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Experience in logistics, supply‑chain or transportation is a plus, but not mandatory.
