Data and Artificial Intelligence Architect

About the role

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a senior Data and Artificial Intelligence Architect to shape its enterprise data landscape and AI governance. You will translate strategic business goals into practical data architecture, governance standards, and AI adoption frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture and roadmap aligned with business initiatives.
• Lead data governance, defining ownership, stewardship, privacy policies, and AI accountability mechanisms.
• Convert data and AI architectural principles into actionable guidelines, checklists, and reusable artifacts.
• Design blueprints that integrate data platforms, business applications, and data products.
• Advise project teams on architecture standards, best practices, and governance requirements.
• Mentor teams on data governance and data modelling practices.
• Monitor emerging data and AI technologies and communicate opportunities to stakeholders.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Authority.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, preferably on large‑scale strategic programs.
• Proven experience as a data governance lead or data engineer with strong governance knowledge.
• Business acumen to align data capabilities with organisational priorities.
• Familiarity with data governance and privacy legislation.
• Understanding of enterprise data modelling, lifecycle management and related technologies.
• Knowledge of IT governance and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is a plus).
• Exposure to AI‑enabled solutions or AI governance practices is advantageous.
